Robert and William are fourth generation Kenyans from a family that has always been connected with wildlife. The Carr-Hartley brothers both rode a rhino before a horse and both speak several Native dialects, more comfortable with Swahili than perhaps their mother tongue, English. And have always been more at home under canvas than concrete. They can both fly aeroplanes and helicopters, and Robert has been voted Kenya's Photographer of The Year 4 times. The Carr-Hartley's cater to their clients with expertise, professionalism, sensitivity and panache, they know the inside story of animals, the animal psyche and emotion, the social order of the different species, the trials and tribulations of the natural world and its denizens and how they cope with danger on a daily basis.
