The choice of how our
clients move between the various mobile camps and wilderness
settings can be entirely flexible, depending on conditions
prevailing at the time and the client preference. It may be by
road in customized Safari vehicles designed especially for
comfort, or by air in aircraft, ranging from corporate style
modern jets, upmarket light Cessna planes or Helicopter, flown
by seasoned pilots experienced in this type of flying and used
to landing on out of the way bush strips. There is often a
delicate balance that needs to be embraced between being able
to see, enjoy and to get a feel of the country by road, and
maximizing one's time in the field by reducing travelling
time, with cost being another consideration. However, whatever
the choice, you will be in extremely safe and reliable hands.

Our customized
vehicles, equipped with radio communication, each have
modified suspension designed for maximum comfort with
good leg room, all are equipped with roof hatches for
game viewing, in addition to refrigerated drinks and
snacks for the road. There are special canvas pocket
holders for binoculars and field guide books and bean
bags for photographic enthusiasts to steady a camera.
Your Professional Guide is your Driver with a seasoned
spotter seated on the roof who seldom misses a thing.

The VHF radio in each vehicle has a range of up to 25
miles enabling your Guide to keep in touch with other
vehicles carrying members of your group as well as the
camp. Our radio frequency allows us to get the best and
most recent information on game movements, weather
conditions and events of interest both within the area
and also the outside world. In addition, the lead
Guide's vehicle is fitted with a powerful single
sideband HF radio, used to communicate with the Nairobi
Office. We also have the capability of communicating
with the outside world by satellite phone or calling in
the Flying Doctor Service air ambulance should the need
arise.

The camp itself moves independently in l0 ton trucks outfitted with water and long range fuel tanks,
specially designed to transport the entire camp
equipment, as well as generators, deep freezers, and
supplies. The comfort of the camp staff en route is also
addressed. They travel seated in a separate travelling
compartment and amongst their ranks will be a competent
mechanic and his tools fully equipped to deal with any
unforeseen engine mishaps en route.
