One of our planet’s most
fascinating and endearing wild animals – the elephant never
fails to evoke strong feelings amongst humans. Their supreme
intelligence, compassion, family bonding, and caring mirror
similar emotions in humans, and hence, we develop a desire to
spend all day watching elephants interact.
We have recognized this and can gear your safari towards
spending suitable amounts of time with elephants in some of
our National Parks famous for their elephant populations such
as Tsavo, Samburu & Amboseli, being guided by professionals
who intimately know the habits and minds of elephants and will
point out all the nuances of their interactions. In addition,
we are closely affiliated to the David Sheldrick Wildlife
Trust which, over the last 40 years has raised hundreds of
orphaned infant elephants and successfully released them into
the wild using mature surrogate ‘mothers’ who are also
orphans. As a result of this, we are able to spend time
visiting the orphans in their Intensive Care facility in
Nairobi National Park, as well as their release stations in
Tsavo East National Park, and can gear a safari to spend as
much time with elephants as one needs.
